DOG DAYS AT the outdoor leisure pool

Once the Outdoor Leisure Pool closes for the season, it’s time for our furry friends to enjoy the water park!

Saturday 9/7 : 1-2pm (Large) / 2:15-3:15 (Small) / 3:30-4:30 (Large)

Sunday 9/8 : 1-2pm (Large) / 2:15-3:15 (Large) / 3:30-4:30 (Large)

Saturday 9/14: 1-2pm (Large) / 2:15-3:15 (Small)

(Small = less than 45 lbs / Large = more than 45 lbs )

Cost is $15/dog (humans are free)

Dog Day Souvenir Tennis Ball included

A maximum of 40 dogs will be permitted per session

Each adult must sign the Assumption of Risk for self and for any minors accompanying them,
and acknowledges the Rules of Participation before entering. Proof of vaccination is
required.

VACCINATIONS
• When registering, your registration is not complete until proof of vaccinations
(parvo-distemper virus, rabies, Bordetella) have been received.
• Proof of vaccination is required for Parvo-Distemper Virus, Rabies, and Bordetella
(kennel cough). Rabies tags are not acceptable proof.
• Proof of vaccinations can be submitted before the event via email @
salston@cityofcumming.net or fax (770-781-1786). Be sure to reference the day and
session your dog is registered for with the vaccination records.
• No exceptions – if you cannot provide proof of vaccines, your dog will not be allowed
to participate and no refund will be issued if pre-registered.

RULES OF PARTICIPATION
1. Absolutely no humans allowed in the water, except to introduce the dog to the zero-entry
area.
2. Each person must sign the Waiver and Assumption of Risk and acknowledge the event
Rules, before entering.
3. All dogs must have current proof of all vaccinations: (parvo-distemper, rabies,
bordetella (kennel cough).
4. Be courteous to other guests and clean up your dog’s “accidents.”
5. Your dog may be released from their leash only upon entering the designated Aquatic
Facilities area.
6. Please do not trim your dog’s nails prior to attending the Dog Day at the Outdoor
Leisure Pool.
7. No minors (persons under the age of 18 years) allowed without adult supervision.
8. Your dog must remain under your control at all times. If your dog is acting
aggressively, you and your dog may be escorted from the event.
9. Please be sure your dog has been exposed to swimming. Some dogs swim well,
some don’t. If not, he/she may become afraid or aggressive.
10. Please help your dog into and out of the pool.
11. All dogs participating must be spayed or neutered.
12. No dogs with health conditions that may endanger themselves or others are allowed.
13. Outside food or drinks (pet or human) are not allowed in the Aquatic Facilities area
