sharks & mermaids camp
Calling all sea explorers! Get ready to dive in to a week of ocean-themed crafts, activities, and aquatic adventures!
AGES 5-10
Sharks and Mermaids Camp runs weekly throughout the summer, from May 26 to July 31, 2026.
Sessions are held Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, unless otherwise noted. $150 per session.
CAMP PREREQUISITES
- All campers must turn 5 before the first day of camp.
- All campers must take a swim test, which consists of a 25-yard continuous swim unassisted in 7-foot deep water. Any camper who does not successfully complete the swim test will be required to wear a lifejacket (provided).
SWIM & S.T.E.M CAMP
Learn. Build. Splash.
This hands-on camp combines swimming, experiments, and team challenges
as campers explore how water works through fun STEM activities and pool time.
Each session features a unique theme making learning active and exciting!
AGES 6-11
2026 Camp Dates
- Session 1: June 1-5 “Water Works” – Explore buoyancy, water flow, and engineering challenges.
- Session 2: June 29-July 3 “Weather & Waves” – Discover the science of waves, wind, and water cycles.
- Session 3: July 27-31 “Water Olympics” – Put science into action with hydrodynamic principles, races, & team competitions.

CAMP PREREQUISITES
Participants must be able to complete the Learn-to-Swim Level 3 exit skills:
1. Jump into deep water, recover, tread or float for 1 minute, rotate, orient to exit, swim 25 yards, and exit.
2. Push off in a streamlined position, swim front crawl 15 yards, transition, swim elementary backstroke 15 yards, and exit.
AMERICAN RED CROSS JUNIOR LIFEGUARD CAMP
Ever wondered what it takes to be a lifeguard?
This interactive program introduces young teens to emergency response,
CPR basics, first aid, and real-life rescue demonstrations.
Ages 11–14. This is a training introduction and does not provide certification.

Session 1 : June 15-19
Session 2 : July 6-10
Session 3 : July 20-24

CAMP PREREQUISITES
Participants must be able to:
• Swim front crawl 25 yards continuously
• Swim breaststroke 25 yards
• Tread water for 1 minute
• Float on back for 30 seconds or swim 25 yards on back
• Submerge and swim 10 feet underwater
