Summer Camps

SHARKS & MERMAIDS CAMP

Calling all sea explorers! Get ready to dive in to a week of ocean-themed crafts, activities, and aquatic adventured. This camp is very popular and fills quickly! FOR AGES 5-10 YEARS.

All dates meet 9:00 am – 1:00 pm each day. $145/session.

COURSE PRE-REQUISITES

  • All campers must turn 5 before the first day of camp.
  • All campers must take a swim test, which consists of a 25-yard continuous swim unassisted in 7-foot deep water. Any camper who does not successfully complete the swim test will be required to wear a lifejacket (provided).

Session 1: May 27-30 (no camp 5/26, pro-rated to $118)

Session 2: June 2-6

Session 3: June 9-13

Session 4: June 16-20

Session 5 June 23-26 (no camp 6/27, pro-rated to $118)

Session 6: June 30-July 3 (no camp 7/2, pro-rated to $118)

Session 7: July 7-11

NEXT LEVEL SWIM CAMP

 

Dive in to the exciting world of swimming! Join us for an immersive week of training and aquatic fun! Our expert instructors will help you improve your swimming skills, discover your hidden aquatic talents with our safety-focused, progressive curriculum. Prepare to swim at the NEXT LEVEL! FOR AGES 7-12 YEARS.

All dates meet 2:00 – 6:00 pm each day. $165/session.

AMERICAN RED CROSS JUNIOR LIFEGUARD CAMP

The Junior Lifeguard Program provides the foundation for lifeguarding and life skills.  The program focuses on 5 key areas:  prevention of aquatic accidents, fitness & swimming skills, response in an emergency, leadership skills, and professionalism as a lifeguard.  This is a non-certification course for participants ages 11-14 years old.

Schedule:  Monday – Friday 1:30-5:30pm (may bring money for concession stand)

COURSE PREREQUISITES

Before entering Junior Lifeguarding, participants must be able to perform the following skills: 

  • Swim the front crawl for 25 yards continuously while breathing to the front or side. 
  • Swim the breaststroke for 25 yards using a pull, breathe, kick and glide sequence. 
  • Tread water for 1 minute using arms and legs. 
  • Show a level of comfort on the back by floating on the back for 30 seconds or swimming on the back for 25 yards using the elementary backstroke or back crawl.
  • Submerge and swim a distance of 10 feet under water.
